BUSINESS AND CORPORATE TRANSFORMATION
Business transformation is a change management strategy that can be defined as any change, realignment or fundamental shift in business operations.
The aim is to make changes to processes, people or systems (technologies) to better align the company with its business strategy and vision.
There are many reasons why a company might consider a transformation, for example, new technologies, changes in the market, low profits and sales, or mergers and acquisitions.
This may involve changes across the whole organisation, for example when integrating the two companies involved in a merger or acquisition. Or it may involve a change in a specific function, such as IT, human resources or finance. For example, a search for greater efficiency may lead to the implementation of a new financial system.
